The 2014-15 NBA season schedule usually gets released the first week of August each year, but there are some delays this year as the NBA figures out its plans for All-Star Weekend, whether or not it should last an entire week.
However, Brad Turner of the Los Angeles Times tweeted today that one date had been set: the Golden State Warriors will face the Los Angeles Clippers on Christmas Day for the third consecutive year.
Last Xmas night, the Warriors pulled out a physical 105-103 win against the Clips, a game from which Blake Griffin was ejected and afterwards called the Dubs “cowardly”.
Later last season, the Warriors lost Game 7 of an epic first-round playoff series against the Clips at Staples Center.
