Harrison Barnes reached out to #DubNation last Thursday when he held a Q&A on his Facebook page to give fans a chance to know him a little better off of the court. As always, the blue and gold faithful showed up as questions poured in for the 3rd year small forward to answer. This is not the first time the Black Falcon has done this however, and as always there was no lack of entertainment from both sides.

In light of recent news that the Golden State Warriors have signed summer league stand out Aaron Craft, one fan asked Harrison what he thought of the signing.

“Great pickup.” Barnes said, “We were in the same HS (High School) class and he’s always a good dude. High character.”

As questions continued to flood in, one fan asked “Who inspired you to become an NBA player?”

Barnes’ answer was short and sweet, “My Mom.”

Barnes has seen a lot of success in his career. He earned NBA All-Rookie First Team honors in his 1st year, which was full of amazing games and plays. Barnes was asked what the most memorable game of his career is. His answer? “Winning my first playoff series my rookie year.”

The grind that an NBA player endures during the regular season as well as the off-season is tremendous. That is why they find things to do to give their body a rest. A favorite among NBA players during down time is to play the popular video game NBA 2k. One fan asked Barnes “Favorite team, player to use on NBA 2K??” and his answer came as a surprise.

“Right now the Raptors and [Kyle] Lowry.” At least it’s just a video game.

Since Barnes is known as a high flying dunker, it is no shock that a fan asked Barnes a question about dunking. “Better dunker MJ or Vince [Carter]?”

Barnes replied “Vince has the craziest in game dunks.”

Harrison continued to be responsive to #DubNation throughout the morning. A fan asked Barnes, “Do you like playing for the Warriors? If so do you think you will be leaving anytime soon?”

He quickly answered, “I love playing for the Warriors.” Good answer, HB!

As always there was no shortage of entertaining questions and answers. If you missed your chance to ask Barnes a question this time, follow him on Twitter and Facebook as he holds random Q&A’s every so often.
