USA Basketball’s Men’s National Team (#USABMNT) is back in New York City right now awaiting their next exhibition game against the Puerto Rico national team.

Like last Wednesday’s exhibition game, the game will take place at the renowned Madison Square Garden arena.

LetsGoWarriors.com will be at press row to cover the game for you once again, as well as the livetweet (#LetsGoWarriorsLive).

Tonight’s game will be televised on ESPN2 at 7:00PM EDT (4:00PM PDT), and it will be Team USA’s last game in the mainland before heading off to Spain.

Both Stephen Curry and Klay Thompson represented the Golden State Warriors well last game, contributing to the dominating 105-62 win against the Dominican Republic. Curry started the game, finishing with 8 points and 3 assists going 2-for-4 from deep. Thompson tallied 11 points and 3 rebounds off the bench.

Thompson (10.5 ppg) is the third highest scorer for Team USA after the last two exhibition games, with James Harden (15.0 ppg) and Anthony Davis (13.5 ppg) leading the team in scoring. Curry isn’t too far behind, averaging 8.5 points, 2 rebounds and 2 assists.

As a team, USA’s offense is currently averaging 100 points on 53.9 percent shooting, and their defense has kept opponents under 41.7 percent from the field and 27.5 percent from behind the arc. They’re 2-0 in exhibition right now, hoping to make it 3-0 by night’s end.

Puerto Rico features Minnesota Timberwolves player Jose Juan Barea, as well as NBA veterans Carlos Arroyo and Renaldo Balkman. Each are key players for their team and will play huge roles in tonight’s exhibition.

This is a crucial game for Team USA as they head into their next round of cuts, which is scheduled for Saturday, Aug. 23.

Curry is considered a lock for the final roster, and Thompson is a favorite of Team USA’s brain trust.

Head coach Mike Krzyzewski is likely to make the final roster, as well.
