The Golden State Warriors have taken a few more steps towards filling out their training camp roster for the upcoming season.

After news surfaced that Summer League point guard Aaron Craft would be signed nearly a month ago, his signing was finalized today, along with two Las Vegas teammates.

Tuesday, the Warriors announced that both James Michael McAdoo and Mitchell Watt had also signed deals to join the team.

While team policy is to not release the terms of the contract, it’s expected that each players deal is only guaranteed through training camp, where the three will compete for a training camp spot.

Craft, McAdoo and Watt played in all five of the Warriors summer league games, averaging at least 20 minutes per game, and McAdoo averaged a team high 29 minutes played.

The rookie from the University of North Carolina averaged 9.0 points, 5.4 rebounds,  1.2 assists, 1.2 blocks and 1.0 steals per game while showcasing impressive athleticism and a strong work ethic throughout.

Ohio State University product Craft often impressed head coach Steve Kerr with his defense and toughness, and averaged 7.4 points, 2.8 rebounds, 2.6 steals and 2.4 assists in 22 minutes per game while backing up second-year player Nemanja Nedovic.

Watt was arguably the team’s best true big man with Ognjen Kuzmic dealing with minor injuries throughout summer league, and averaged 6.0 points, 5.6 rebounds and 1.4 rebounds in 20.2 minutes.

While Craft and McAdoo are rookies coming straight from the NCAA, Watt finished his career at the University of Buffalo in 2012, and has spent two seasons playing professionally in Israel since earning MAC Player of the Year honors.

It’d be a surprising accomplishment for any of the three players to stick around past camp, given the Warriors already very full roster, with 14 players already under contract for the 2014-2015 season.

Last season, the Warriors signed Cameron Jones, Dewayne Dedmon and Seth Curry to non-guaranteed deals, and none of them made the team’s final regular season roster but did make appearances with the Santa Cruz Warriors.
