BILBAO EXHIBITION CENTRE, BILBAO, SPAIN — @LetsGoWarriors caught up with Golden State Warriors guard Stephen Curry after blowout 106-71 win against the Dominican Republic by USA Basketball’s Men’s National Team (#USABMNT).

Recently, #SplashBrothers backcourt mate and #TeamUSA teammate Klay Thompson had been getting a few assists or near-assists on alley oops to the athletic US frontcourt of Anthony Davis, Kenneth Faried, DeMarcus Cousins, and even 12th-man Andre Drummond.

The one two nights ago against Turkey to Davis was named “Alley Oop of the Night” by FIBA.

Said Curry of Thompson, “He has some great targets and he’s just throwing it up there on time and they’re making great plays.”

Curry also referenced the Warriors’ frontcourt of Festus Ezeli and Andrew Bogut, taking a friendly jab at his buddy David Lee.

“I’m sure Festus and Bogut — no offense to D.Lee — are probably out there watching,” Curry said, “So hopefully that translates.”

Indeed, #DubNation will be looking forward to such opening of doors to the many facets of Thompson’s game that are emerging here at #Spain2014.
