PALAU SANT JORDI, BARCELONA, SPAIN — Golden State Warriors guard Klay Thompson is well-known for his shooting and gaining a bigger reputation for his stellar defense, and during this FIBA #Spain2014 World Cup tournament, he’s shown off an ability to deliver quality assists including alley oops, but last night against Slovenia he showed off an array of other skills including an emphatic blocked shot, a full-length touchdown pass, and getting up way over the rim for his own flush of an alley oop.

“Klay’s been a consistent high level performer for us,” USA head coach Mike Krzyzewski told LetsGoWarriors after the game last night, “He’s just doing what he does in the NBA and that’s being an outstanding player.
“He can hit shots and he can really play defense. We knew that when we started trials that he would be a valuable (player). Klay’s accepted his role really well.”
