This is a continuation of Part 1 of the feature on Chris Strachan, aka @COSeezy.
Shortly after Strachan received a full scholarship to be the student assistant for the Liberty University basketball team, he was chosen to pursue the school’s top recruit, Seth Curry.
While talking Liberty hoops with Seth, their relationship turned from business, to a true friendship. “That’s how me and Steph (Seth’s older brother Stephen Curry) got close,” Strachan told us, “I became another brother and we all share a great relationship to this day.”
Fast forward a few years, and Strachan has relocated to Southern California. His passion for basketball and sneakers still rages on and he is trying to put that passion to good use.
“I’ve been in Southern California for two years now trying to figure out how I can piece together my relationships and all of the things I love. I finally came up with Kick’n It. I love basketball, sneakers and I love to perform and enjoy myself when the moment presents itself.”
Now, all Strachan needed was someone to get the show off to a great start. Who better than Stephen?
“Steph is my brother in every sense of the word, besides the fact that we have different parents. When I told him what I was cooking up, he was super-excited to be apart of it,” Strachan said. “When you see Steph on the show you have to understand that’s really him. He’s not putting on a front for the cameras or acting. That’s literally how we chill and kick it. You’ll see that with all of my guests.”
