Golden State Warriors backcourt #SplashBrothers duo, Stephen Curry and Klay Thompson, both spent #NBAAllStarNYC Thursday busy announcing their new shoes. The announcements, as first reported by Diamond Leung of the Bay Area News Group, were a mere two miles and thirty minutes apart. Both Leung and San Francisco Chronicle reporter Rusty Simmons attended Thompson’s event. Simmons later attended Curry’s launch party.
Thompson apparently will have some creative control with his new shoe deal with Chinese company ANTA, whose product quality was recently reviewed as “hit or miss”, and which Klay said in the press conference is the fourth-largest shoe brand in the world:

With the help of marketing company Narrative, there was also a cake of Curry’s shoe. Other attendees included teammate Festus Ezeli and former Warriors power forward Anthony Tolliver.
