AIR CANADA CENTRE, TORONTO, ON — No one expected 5’3″ comedian Kevin Hart to actually beat (or tie) Golden State Warriors power forward Draymond Green, who is shooting 42% from beyond the arc this season, in a three-point contest, but that sort of happened last night.
Green struggled his way to post a score of 12. Hart was supposed to shoot from the high school line, per social media trash-talk between the two, but the regulation court at Air Canada Centre didn’t have such lines, so he shot from the NBA arc.
Incredibly, Hart sank a few, then drilled a few as he was running out of time. He hit his last three to tie Green.
Or did he? This screenshot shows the referee saying Hart stepped on the line.
“Aw, I beat him. You saw the scoreboard,” Green told LetsGoWarriors after the event. “His last shot he was all over the line. A few of his shots, he was all over the line. So it really shouldn’t have counted, but because he was supposed to shoot at the high school three anyway, they still counted it.”
Green was presented with a trophy that had hilariously his photo on it. At one point, Draymond compared the height of the trophy to that of Hart’s:

Green placed a purple ribbon on Hart’s chest as a participation award, but some people thought that was too staged.
For example, the simple fact that the trophy already had Green’s name and photo on it.
“I mean, common sense says who was gonna win,” explained Green.
Green may need to actually practice next time. Earlier this week, he told us he didn’t need to:
