WARRIORS PRACTICE FACILITY, OAKLAND, CA — After a day off following a thrilling come-from-behind overtime victory at Utah, the Golden State Warriors were back at it with morning shootaround before tonight’s game against the visiting Celtics, who come to town a night after losing in Portland.

Spotted once again was former NBA head coach Tom Thibodeau chatting it up with Warriors head coach Steve Kerr and assistant general manager Kirk Lacob.

Stephen Curry was back to his routine, but he changed things up a little bit for a few shots, shooting left-handed:

Festus Ezeli was up first for media availability and he talked about his experience getting pranked yesterday by Andre Iguodala, as part of a promotion with San Francisco startup Lyft:

Ezeli got his revenge, though, smacking Iguodala in the face with cake this morning.

“I would’ve forgotten about it, right, but I went home yesterday and it was all over the news,” said Ezeli. “People texting me all day. It kept being reiterated, so I was like, yeah, now I have to get him back. I can’t let that one slide.”

Ezeli also mentioned that Kerr pranked Draymond Green by saying the Warriors power forward was going to rest tonight. It backfired, as Green just glared at Kerr.

Ezeli said that his injury is progressing along well, that it’s just a matter of conditioning. He has yet to run full-court scrimmage with the team, which has been difficult anyways, with the number of games happening and the team taking off days here and there.

Iguodala stepped up to the mic after that and reported that he was not quite ready to go, either.

As for the prank on Ezeli, Iguodala said that he came up with the idea.

“Give myself some producing credits,” Iguodala boasted.

Incredibly, it wasn’t Iguodala’s best prank ever. He recanted a chance moment he once had with former teammate Herbert Hill of the Philadelphia 76ers.

“I was getting gas while my other teammate (Hill) was parked at the gas station,” said Iguodala. “He just went into the gas station to make this call, so I go in his car and hide in the back seat. He goes back in his car, pulls off, doesn’t realize I’m in the back seat. So now I act like I’m robbing him. I almost pissed hisself. That was crazy.”

Iguodala said he also filmed it, although it was on an old phone, and that Hill will probably be mad if he reads this.
