ORACLE ARENA, OAKLAND, CA — This is a continuation of the halftime recap of the Indiana Pacers at the Golden State Warriors.
The Warriors took an 80-50 lead into halftime.
Q3:
Monta Ellis got a nice driving lefty at the start of the third, but that was all the Pacers could muster as Klay Thompson, who had scored 40 points at the half, continued his rampage.
But first, after a Thompson jumper, Kevin Durant and Stephen Curry took part in the theatrics. .
Zaza Pachulia got tied up with Paul George and forced a jump ball, which Pachulia tapped to Draymond Green.
Green threw a touchdown pass to Curry running a post pattern and Steph caught the ball in stride, then threw the ball up perfectly for a trailing KD to slam down the picturesque play:

Klay heated up, getting another reverse layup, then getting fouled by Ellis and draining both free throws to reach 50 points. That drew a big cheer from #Roaracle.
Thompson continued to fire away on rhythm shots, but he fell short on his next three-point try, much to the chagrin of the arena crowd.
Zaza then missed a dunk embarrassingly…

…although he came back later with a roll on a screen with Curry and got the dunk through.
Before that, Steph found Zaza who got the ball to Klay. Thompson, unselfish, went to Pachulia, got it back, upfaked, split the defense, and got two more tries from the line.
He made the first, missed the second, but Pachulia got the offensive tap, and aimed the ball towards Klay, who was open from the left arc. The swish gave him 54 points:

Teague got fouled and the arena gave Klay a standing ovation.
JaVale McGee came in and slammed home a missed Thompson spinning fade…

…and Andre Iguodala lasered a pass down to a cutting Green as Klay’s outward cut drew the gravity of the Pacers defense to the perimeter.
Steph snuck up and stole Kevin Seraphin’s inbound pass, dribbled around back to the right arc, spotted Klay open on the opposite wing and slung a lefty pass for the assist to Thompson’s 55th, 56th and 57th point on the night:

Pacers coach Nate McMillan called a timeout, the Warriors taking a dominating 110-73 lead with 3:23 remaining in the quarter.
Out of the timeout, Thompson excited the Oracle fans once again, but got blocked going down the right side.
However, Jeff Teague traveled on the other end, Iguodala got the ball up top, motioned for McGee and Klay to run interference, JaVale set a monster pick to free up Thompson on the right side, and after the splash Klay had 60 points:
This is what 60 points looks like.

To add insult to injury, Draymond went down the lane and lobbed for a JaVale smash, and the Warriors ended up with a 116-83 lead after three periods.
In the fourth quarter, the Warriors’ bench unit kept the pressure on, as Patrick McCaw found Kevon Looney for a dunk, McCaw hit a three, James McAdoo converted an “and-one”, and Ian Clark splashed to keep his impressive season field goal percentage (55% before the game started) going.
McGee came back in to close out with Clark, McCaw, McAdoo, and Looney, and the Warriors ended up with a romp of a final score, 142-106.
