Should Wake Be In the Rotation?

Should Wake Be In the Rotation?Tim Wakefield struggled again last night. When you consider his injury from last season you have to question whether he is healthy enough to be a starter. Nobody has been willing to do what the team needs as much as Wake, and it would be hard to see him coming out of the pen for long relief but he may not have what it takes to be in the rotation. Buchholz has had a great spring and could fill the spot. The rotation at the start of the season could be Beckett, Lester, Dice-K, Masterson, and Buchholz, with Penny and Wake ready to fill in for injuries. When Smotz comes back it will make it even harder for Wakefield to stay in the rotation. Wake deserves the benefit of the doubt as a starter and should be in the rotation for the start of the season and given at least two regular season starts to see if he is OK. He will let Tito know if something is wrong but it is starting to look like he may be reaching the end of the line as a Red Sox starter.
