Two of the best pitchers in the American League faced off today but the Jays starter Roy Halladay came out on top. Ortiz drove in a run in a top of the first but that would be all the Red Sox could score against Halladay who pitched a complete game 6-hitter with 7 K’s against the Sox. Lester gave up 2 in the 2nd and 1 in the 6th to take the loss.
