Red Sox Looking at Aroldis Chapman

The rumor on the street is that Arolis Chapman will be throwing a bullpen session at Fenway tomorrow.  If true it means that the Red Sox are very much in the mix to land the Cuban flamethrower. His agent talked with the Herald about where things stand:

Asked to describe how interested the Red Sox are in his client, agent Edwin Mejia opined, “I would think that it’s significant if we are going over there. For as long as they’ve scouted him and watched him throw and as talented as they’ve told us they think he is, it makes me think that they’re interested.’’
