No, we did not just complete a 6-4-3 double play. Fenway West is 2 years old today. In our second year we more than doubled our readership, added new authors, joined the Bloguin Network and redesigned our entire site. We also had some major accomplishments this season:
- We appeared on CSNNE’s “The Baseball Show” 3 times
- We created a twitter account and now have over 700 followers
- We interviewed some of the best baseball beat writers in the county
- We obtained press credentials to a Reno Aces AAA game and a PawSox game and interviewed players and coaches
- We created a Fenway West Facebook page
- We hosted call-in interviews of authors of baseball books on Blogtalkradio
- We were featured in Sports Illustrated and on Deadspin
Year 3 should bring even more growth and excitement. We will be adding new authors and new features throughout the year.
