Happy Halladays?

Roy Halladay could be a member of the Red Sox by the end of next week. The NY Daily News is reporting that the Red Sox are trying to land Halladay quickly:

The Red Sox are “putting on a full-court press” to acquire Roy Halladay…”They would love to get it wrapped up before the winter meetings (beginning Dec. 7),” the source said

To get Halladay they would have to give up Buchholz and a top prospect but it sure would be nice to have Doc on the team.

UPDATE: ESPN Boston says there is no rush to get the deal done so quickly:

A source told ESPNBoston.com reporter Gordon Edes that there is “nothing” to the timing and urgency mentioned in the report.
