Not much went well for the Red Sox at Target Field today. Tim Wakefield gave up 6 runs (5 earned) on 10 hits in 5 1/3 innings. Shoeneweis continued the bloodletting by giving up a 2-run homer to Cuddyer.
The offense failed to score a run off of Twins starter Liriano, nor could the get anything going off of the Twins bullpen. Beltre and Drew each went 0-4, Drew with three strikeouts. The defense was bad too with Hall, V-Mart, and Beltre all making errors.
