Josh Beckett pitched much better, going seven innings and giving up two earned runs on six hits. The game was tied 2-2 when he was pulled. The Red Sox had a chance to go ahead in the eighth but Tek was gunned down by a mile at home plate. Papelbon came in to pitch the 10th and gave up a walk and two hits to lose the game. Things get much harder in the road ahead as the Sox take on the Angels followed by the Yankees.
