As the Sox head out on a West Coast trip…we learned a little bit of good news about some of our boys on the DL. Clay Buchholz had his one outing with Pawtucket last Friday…and he is headed back to the Red Sox rotation. He is scheduled to pitch on Wednesday against Oakland.
And for some more good news, Josh Beckett pitched his second rehab start in Pawtucket…and it was messy in a few spots, but all in all…it showed that Josh is where he needs to be. Josh is going to throw an extended side session on Tuesday and if all goes as planned, he will return to the Red Sox rotation on Friday against Seattle.
Good news. Good good news.
