Carl Crawford is back to playing some baseball. Crawford had a productive day playing for the PawSox on Friday night. He played 5 innings and went 1 for 2 on the night with an RBI. He was able to get some runnings in on the bases and test out his hamstring. He said it went well. Crawford will play tonight with Pawtucket for his final rehab start and as long as it goes well, he will rejoin the Sox in Baltimore on Monday.
Now, my question is what the Sox choose to do when they activate Crawford off the disabled list? Does it sign the end of DMac’s time with the Sox? It would be hard to see Reddick sent down given how well he is playing…and I also can’t see them holding onto 2 backup outfielders. Hmm, curious minds wanna know….and I guess this curious mind will find out on Monday.
