Andrew Miller pitched his best game in a Red Sox uniform today. He pitched 5 2/3 innings of shutout ball and gave up only two hits although he did walk six batters. Albers, Bard and Pap came in from the pen and no-hit the Orioles the rest of the way.
Ells led the Red Sox offense with two taters and Crawford and Reddick each had two hits. Gonzo seemed to get his swing back and went 4-5 in the game.
