Since the historic September collapse when the “Best Team Ever” failed to make the playoffs Red Sox fans have had to deal with nothing but bad news:
- The manager who won two World Series with the team was sent packing and smeared on the way out.
- The GM left with one year left on his contract and the Red Sox still have no compensation for it.
- The highest paid pitcher on the team announced he was having surgery and would miss the entire 2012 season and everyone saw it as a blessing.
- The all-star closer left without ever being offered a contract
- The popular sideline reporter is leaving to cover the Lakers
- The one finalist canidate for manager has chosen a different team.
When are Red Sox fans going to get some good news? And not raising ticket prices when you have the highest ticket prices in MLB is not exactly the good news fans have been waiting for. Time for this orgainization to step up and get it together.
