Free Agent T.J. McDonald suspended for the first 8 games of 2017 season

According from Field Yates via Twitter: Source: free agent S T.J. McDonald has been suspended for the first 8 games of the 2017 season.

TJ McDonald, the 2nd-highest ranked unsigned free agent on the ESPN 150 list, has been suspended for first 8 games of season. This is huge news for the organization of the Rams, as they will most likely official move on from the safety.

No specific reason known yet for the TJ McDonald suspension.

Rams had already moved on from TJ McDonald, w/ Mo Alexander taking his place at strong safety. Lamarcus Joyner could step in at free safety.

McDonald was arrested last offseason, but no word on whether that incident is tied to this suspension.
