Red Sox Drop to Last Place After Loss to Jays

Dice-K did not make it out of the second inning of last night’s rain soaked game.  He gave up 5 runs on just 42 pitches and put the Sox in a hole they could not climb out of.  The Sox offense was only good for two runs on six hits which was not nearly enough.

The carnage continued in the late innings as Padilla was tagged for three hits and a run in the eighth and Bailey gave up a three run homer in the ninth.  With the loss the Red Sox drop to last place in the AL East.
