It looks like the Boston Red Sox will be getting Joel Hanrahan back Tuesday. Daniel Bard told reporters after last night’s win, that he will be heading back down to Portland to make room for Hanrahan.
With Hanrahan back, it creates controversy about who will be the closer. Andrew Bailey has been pitching like he did with Oakland before he got traded to the Red Sox, and has earned the closer role. In my opinion, I think you should keep Bailey as the closer and make Hanrahan the setup man and see how it goes from there.
