Coach Fris Jackson is the wide receivers coach at the “best damn university in the country.” Seriously, that’s what he calls Temple on his Twitter account. With spring practice starting up on Monday, Jackson is diligently working to improve an Owls receiving corps that contributed to the AAC’s eighth-ranked passing offense.
Rising junior Romond Deloatch, who was second among Temple receivers with three touchdowns in ’14, decided he couldn’t wait past the first play of 7-0n-7 drills to show how much better he plans to be next season. Check out this video by coach Jackson of Deloatch snagging a long “bomb” tossed his way. He certainly switches on the afterburners for this one.
