Deron Williams broke the news this afternoon via his Twitter account. He’s taking the 5 year, $98 million max contract from the Nets. Mark Cuban tried to woo him to Dallas with a 4 year, $75 million deal. Tough day for Cubes.
The Nets are building a decent little team down in Brooklyn. They may still have the pieces to pull off a deal for Dwight Howard. I will enjoy watching them beat up the Knicks and finishing second to the Celtics.
