Every morning, we compile the links of the day and dump them here… highlighting the big storyline. Because there’s nothing quite as satisfying as a good morning dump.
Today’s practice just wrapped up. Quite a bit of live scrimmaging today, a good prep for tomorrow’s first preseason game here in Istanbul.
Doc Rivers said that most of training camp thus far has been used to install offense/defense, so he wanted to use today as a scrimmage day.
Paul Pierce loves the fact that the 3rd team can hang with the 1st & 2nd teams during scrimmages. “It’s only going to make us better.”
I realize that photo is anything but intense… but it was the only new picture I could find. Hoping we’ll have some media reports later this morning.
We do have some new video… of Rajon Rondo throwing a perfect TD pass to Jeff Green. Not sure who got burned in coverage.
Things were pretty intense (for camp) yesterday. Sounds like KG is ready:
He got into a brief shoving match that involved teammate Dionte Christmas near the end of intense scrimmages, a moment when he appeared half serious. Moments later, as the final scrimmage went to overtime and a throng of Turkish media were allowed into the arena to watch the final few minutes, he drained one of his customary midrange jumpers to seal victory for the Green team over the White.
Garnett held his release hand high in the air after making the basket and slapped hands with all of his teammates.
Gotta love Ticket.
