So maybe it’s true that those who don’t remember history are doomed to repeat it. A three-pointer from Turner and a layup and foul from Young turned into a 10-0 run for the Sixers.
Then, there was an alley-oop from Rondo to Garnett for his 19th of a season-high 20 assists to cut it to a two-possession game, but this time Young had the answer again with a turnaround hook on another smooth pass from Holiday.
The Celtics staged one more rally to cut it to a four-point game with 27.1 seconds left, but Turner regrouped from missing two foul shots just 10 seconds earlier to sink two to ice it.
Clutch.
