Last time

The Celtics beat Charlotte, 100-89, back in January. Rajon Rondo messed around and got a triple-double in the victory.

This time

Get it to:  Jeff Green

He’s the Celtics best all-around offensive option not named Kevin Garnett and Paul Pierce. And with those guys coming off heavy minutes last night, the Celtics are going to need Green to be uber-assertive.

Gotta stop: Kemba Walker

Explosive guard who can penetrate and inflict damage off the pick-and-roll. Make him and his teammates shoot jumpers. Charlotte has a meager 42% FG.

The Wild Card:  The Celtics state of mind and legs

Can we really expect much tonight from Paul Pierce (54 minutes) and Kevin Garnett (47 minutes) following last night’s triple-overtime victory over Denver? The guys are 6-6 on the 2nd night of back-to-backs, and 3-6 when the second game is on the road. And none of those games involved 3 OTs.

How we see it goin’ down

I’m not sure which way to go with this one. All signs point to a Celtics letdown game. But the Bobcats are a terrible team.

If the Celtics win, it will be ugly.
