Team Goal of the Year?
The season is just a fourth of the way completed and the Blues have competed in just 20 games which ranks tied for fewest games played. However, despite the fact the vast majority of the season still lies ahead of us, we may have already seen the best goal scored by a St. Louis Blues’ skater this season. David Perron blew everyone’s mind with a nifty through the legs play which can be seen in the video below.
The Blues beat the New York Islanders by a score of 4-1 Saturday night and the best highlight to sum up the Blues play was David Perron’s phenomenal goal to cap the scoring. The win signals the first back-to-back wins for the Blues since coming home from Sweden. The result shows the Blues’ efforts are finally paying off and the young talent is finally seeing their names in the boxscore again. The win puts the Blues back level at 8-8-4, and they face the Boston Bruins tonight to wrap up their six game homestand.
Now on to the goal everyone is talking about …
