I knew this one was over when Raymon Felton nailed that 45-footer at the halftime buzzer. That triple was one of 14 three-pointers made by New York in tonight’s 108-89 win over the Celtics.

As Doc always says, it’s a make or miss league. The Knicks (48% FG, 51% 3FG) made and the Celtics (43% FG, 28% 3FG) missed.

The hemorrhoid on this crap sundae is Paul Pierce’s sore right foot. He sat on the bench with an ice pack on his foot for the entire 4th quarter. Don’t be surprised if he sits out tomorrow night’s game vs Minnesota.

The Green:

Another superb all-around effort by the Truth; 24 points, 15 rebounds, and 5 assists.

Jeff Green led all scorers with 27 points on 10-14 FG.

The Gross:

Avery Bradley’s shooting. He had 2 points on 1-5 FG.

I know Jason Terry (8 points, 3-7 FG) is saving himself for the playoffs, but can someone tell him it’s okay to score during regular season games?

The Grid:

  • Jordan Crawford was a team high -23
  • Pierce had more rebounds than Chris Wilcox, Brandon Bass, Jeff Green, Shavlik Randolph and DJ White combined.
