LeBron says Celtics, Paul Pierce are his only rival

I don’t really have an individual rival, but I think the closest would have to be Paul Pierce.

I would say Boston is a rival of mine, because I’ve met them so many times in the post season, I’ve been able to advance against them, they’ve sent me home fishing a few times…

LeBron touched on the rival topic because Ahman Rashad was trying to force Kobe Bryant into the equation. Wrong.

It’s the Celtics and Paul Piece and no one else is close. But with Pierce’s career winding down and LeBron in his prime, there’s time for someone else (Paul George, Kevin Durant) to emerge.
