Every morning, we compile the links of the day and dump them here… highlighting the big storyline. Because there’s nothing quite as satisfying as a good morning dump.
Well folks, if you’re looking for Celtics “news” this morning, I can’t help you. Unless you’d like to go over possible Rajon Rondo trades again, the NBA schedule being released tonight at 6pm EST is the closest thing you’ll get to “news”.
Last season, the schedule makers were not too kind to our hometown favorites. Boston had 16 back-to-back games, which coupled with all of last season’s injuries did not help a team decimated with health problems. And with two of Boston’s most marketable players heading out of town, it’s probably fair to assume the Celtics will not have quite as many nationally televised games as in year’s past.
Speaking of those two, a few of their games we do know about. KG, Truth and the Nets will visit London on January 16th, 2014 to face-off with the Atlanta Hawks, and will begin their home campaign vs the dreaded Miami Heat on Nov. 1st.
You can catch the NBA schedule release show tonight at 6pm EST on NBAtv.
