This week’s featured fan is Nick from Malden, Ma. I’ve been interacting with Nick on Twitter for about the last two years. He is one of the more dedicated fans I know, and has been behind the C’s through good and bad. His father & uncle raised him to be a C’s fan, bringing him along to the Garden since he was small.
I was pretty much “born into” CelticsNation. My uncle and father would bring me to games as a kid. And besides, being born and raised in Massachusetts, how could you not love the Celts. The greatness and rich history behind this team is also what got me interested in the C’s.
Nick tells me that his favorite Celtic of all-time is none other than Paul Pierce. Not surprising, as countless numbers of C’s fans have grown to love the man we call “The Truth”.
My favorite Celtic of all time would be none other then “The Truth” Paul Pierce. I love his deadly jump shot and his mix of post-ups, drives and spot up shooting. I admire the fact that he was able to make an All Star appearance every season from 2008-2012. I could go on and on- I mean what’s not to love about PP34? Paul is the definition of a true Celtic.
Nick was fortunate to meet a few of his Celtics heroes, including Jeff Green, Avery Bradley & Jared Sullinger. But his favorite “Celtics memory” is that beautiful night in June of 2008 when Boston clinched the NBA Title & won their 17th championship.
My favorite Celtics moments would be when I met Avery Bradley, Jeff Green & Jared Sullinger. Both Jeff & Avery followed me on Twitter which is also pretty cool. But my favorite Celtics moment ever would have to be banner 17 “ANYTHING IS POSSSIBLE” I could watch that video clip over and over..
Nick believes in the phrase coined by KG: “I bleed green and die green.” He is raising his beautiful 3 year old daughter to also be a Celtics fan and looks forward to bringing her to the Garden soon. I want to thank Nick for participating, and be sure to follow him on Twitter. Thank you for reading, and GO CELTICS. -KWAPT
