Plenty of attention has been given to all the skaters missing time with injuries. Today we finally have some good news – Barret Jackman has been activated from the IR and is expected to play tonight against Nashville.

After missing nine games, Jackman returns to a patchwork blueline that has seen plenty of new faces this season with injuries removing Roman Polak, Jackman and Carlo Colaiacovo from the lineup.

His sprained knee appears to be at 100% as he has been skating the past several days and should be a go against the Predators.

While he was out of the lineup, the Blues went 4-4-1 and were the victim of several blowouts where the team as a whole seemed to fall asleep defensively. Jackman and Polak usually square off against the enemy’s top line, which makes Jackman’s return a welcome one.
