Report: Love to Warriors deal “dead”

I feel like this deserves the Troy McClure treatment. 

Hi… I’m the trade is dead report.  You might remember me from such trades as “Kevin Garnett to Boston” and… “Doc Rivers to the Clippers”… or basically almost every other trade that plays out in the social media era.

I hate these reports, because it’s usually followed up by a sudden, Undertake-like return from the dead.  Next up, the tombstone piledriver… a.k.a. the report that Golden State MIIIIGGGGHHHHTTTT be willing to include Harrison Barnes.

This is still posturing, in my opinion, until the draft is over.  It’s a staring contest.  A game of chicken.  Is Minnesota REALLY willing to miss out on making multiple draft picks in this draft?  Is Golden State REALLY willing to try again, and fail, in the West with what they have?  And who is really working in the background to swoop in and steal this deal at the last minute?
