Marcus Smart led the Celtics in scoring for the second straight day, but it wasn’t enough as Indiana beat Boston 95-86 in the Celts’ last Summer League game of 2014.
Smart had 20 points in the finale, including 4 treys. He also grabbed 5 boards & had 3 assists. Kelly Olynyk had yet another solid game as the second year kid put in 19 points & grabbed 6 rebounds. Phil Pressey bounced back (somewhat) from his awful shooting day yesterday to score 12 points and dished out a game-high 13 assists. Mike Moser & O.D. Anosike both posted double-doubles, 16 & 10 and 13 & 10 respectively. Donald Sloan led the Pacers’ squad with 20 points.
Marcus Smart finishes his first NBA Summer League with averages of 14.8 ppg, 4.2 rebs, 4.2 asts & 2 stls. A few hours after the game, Smart tweeted that he was back home in Texas and looking forward to spending some time with family & getting some rest.
