Blues/Verizon Team Up for Hopeline Phone Drive
As the Blues play out the last  few games remaining on their schedule, the spotlight has long since faded on the thought of the playoffs returning to St. Louis. Unfortunately, this can cause other events that involve the organization to mostly go overlooked as numerous fans shift their attention toward baseball season. The Blues and Verizon have teamed up for a great charitable event that will be held prior to the team’s game on March 24th. While the action on the ice might not count for much, don’t pass up your chance to help out.

If you have an old wireless phone you no longer use and are planning on attending the Blues/Oilers tilt on the 24th, simply bring your phone along with you and give it to one of the volunteers. In return you will receive a discount ticket offer for a future Blues game as well as a coupon from Verizon that can be redeemed at any retail store. It’s that easy.

The Hopeline program then takes your old phone and either through refurbishing or recycling, provide assistance to victims of domestic violence.
