Crombeen Returning vs. Detroit

B.J. Crombeen will be in the lineup tonight as the St. Louis Blues take on the Detroit Red Wings, as reported by Kelly Chase. Crombeen has yet to play in the 2011-12 season after breaking his shoulder in the team’s preseason game against the Dallas Stars.

Crombeen’s return comes at a great time for the Blues as the team has been dealing with a wrist injury to T.J. Oshie while Jamie Langenbrunner has battled the flu. It hasn’t been reported where Crombeen will play in his return, nor is it clear how much time on the ice he will see in his first game of the season. Regardless, Crombeen’s addition to the lineup brings not only another healthy body but also a new addition of grit.
