I don’t want to speculate too much, as I have no facts/confirmed info on this story, but it is clear that Anta endorser Rajon Rondo wore a pair of Nike Hyperdunk 2014 in last night’s loss to Dallas.

Last I spoke with B.Moughty, who is currently working on the RR2 for Anta, Rajon’s second signature shoe with the Chinese company was still being finished. Rondo has been seen in a sample pair of them this season. So who knows what this means. Did the equipment manager forget to pack his kicks, are the Hyperdunks simply more comfortable or has he split with Anta?
I posted some more pics in the gallery below that clearly show the shoes are indeed Nike. There are also some close-ups via Foot Locker of the same model. Stay tuned to Celtkicks for any more developments.
*updated 5:45pm est* I just spoke to a source who tells me Rajon did not leave Anta to go back to Nike, and that he’ll be back wearing Anta soon.
