The Nuggets are close to trading guard Nate Robinson to the Celtics for guard Jameer Nelson, sources said.

I know some people are going to get excited by the headline, but this is a strictly salary cap move. Robinson makes $2.1 million as compared to Nelson’s $2.7 million. Robinson’s contract is also truly expiring whereas Nelson had a player option for next year.
And before we get TOO excited, I wouldn’t be surprised if Robinson is bought out. If he’s not… well… let me just say someone needs to be on the inactive list.
