Every morning, we compile the links of the day and dump them here… highlighting the big story line. Because there’s nothing quite as satisfying as a good morning dump.

NBA MVP Stephen Curry missed the equivalent of a quarter after taking a hard fall on his head, neck and back area near the basket in the second quarter of Monday night’s 128-115 loss to the Rockets.

The Warriors said that after a series of tests, it was determined Curry had no concussion symptoms; he did not undergo any X-rays. He returned and finished with 23 points in 31 minutes.

“I feel pretty good,” Curry said. “Just not how I envisioned the game going.”

Curry said the fall wasn’t the worst of his career but called it the scariest.

“I was in the air for a long time — just trying to brace yourself,” said Curry, who according to the Warriors sustained a head contusion on the play.

Asked whether he would go out of his way to avoid seeing replays of the fall, Curry said he’d seen it, “and once was enough.”

THANK GOD.

Don’t you dare get injured on us Steph Curry. You’re the only one who can stop that insufferable, egomaniacal LeBron James.

Imagine if LeBron hit the court like Curry. You just know he’d come out for the next game in a neck brace.

On Page 2, talk Paul Pierce might finish up with the Clippers.

Washington’s main issue is complacency. The Wizards could stand pat if Pierce decides to return to D.C. next season rather than opt out of his deal, but many around the league believe Pierce will do just that and finish his career back home in Los Angeles with the Clippers.

Three teams in 3 years for Paul Pierce?

I’d love to see him stick with the up-and-coming Wizards, but playing for Doc Rivers and the Clippers makes too much sense.

If Paul heads west, I’d have to root for the Clippers. My love for the Truth supersedes my disdain for Doc.

And finally…
