Massachusetts based company ISlide reached a licensing agreement with the NBA today. That means you can now create your own custom pair of Boston Celtics (or any other NBA team) slides. The company, which is headquartered in Norwood, issued this press release earlier today:
ISlide, known for its innovative, high quality, customizable slide sandals, announced today that it has entered into a two year licensing agreement with the National Basketball Association. This agreement grants ISlide the rights to all 30 team logos, as well as Hardwood Classic logos.
“Slides have been, and will always be a staple of basketball players and fans alike,” said Justin Kittredge, Founder and CEO of ISlide. “We are proud to have teamed up with the NBA to give basketball players and fans the opportunity to represent their favorite NBA teams in the coolest, most comfortable and customized way.”
The slides go for around $50, and you can design your own pair over at their website. I’m definitely digging these, and the customization options are limitless. For example, you can upload any photo you want and have it emblazoned on the slides. These are a must have if you’re looking for something new & original and are willing to spend a bit more to get it.
