What? NO, not LeBron’s. Larry’s.
June 8, 1986, the Legend dropped 29 points on 8-17 shooting (2-3 3pt, 11-12 ft), 11 rebounds, and 12 assists in the NBA Finals clinching Game 6 against Houston. Oh, he also had 3 steals and just 2 turnovers.
The Celtics beat the Rockets 114-97 that night. Check out the box score and one thing that jumps out, to me, is that the Celtics only shot four 3-pointers. Danny Ainge took (and made) the only other 3 that night for Boston and they still scored 114. LeBron took 6 by himself last night. The Cavs took 27. Golden State took 35. Neither team broke 100.
It’s a different game, man.
