Sean Deveney of The Sporting News joins the show this week to discuss some of the things the Celtics were trying to accomplish at the trade deadline and what they might accomplish moving forward. We look at the team’s more long-term goals, as well as some of the changes that might be made around the NBA as a whole.
In addition to that, Jay and I discuss Isaiah Thomas as a recruiter in free agency, would we trade the Brooklyn pick if it was #1 overall, and why the Celtics won’t be playing any of the young guys anytime soon.
Plus, we spend a little time marveling at the awesome spectacle that was OKC-Golden State and trying to figure out if Steph Curry is actually human. And I rant about the way some of the local media handle themselves.
