Boston Celtics rookie Jaylen Brown, the No. 3 pick in June’s draft, wore jersey No. 9 during summer league but recently switched to the No. 7 that was vacated by Jared Sullinger‘s departure this summer.
That No. 7 Celtics jersey was also worn by Dee Brown, who won the 1991 slam dunk contest with his famous no-look dunk. While being photographed at the NBA’s rookie symposium on Sunday in New York, Jaylen Brown mimicked Brown’s famous pose for one snapshot.
No doubt Jaylen Brown is going to own some nasty dunks throughout his career, but Dee owns the no look. Here’s a look back at Brown’s dunks in 1991.
