If you're planning on coming to the St. Louis Blues opener against the Nashville Predators on Thursday, you'll have a bit more time to make your way down to the arena. Due to the fact the St. Louis Cardinals have a playoff game the same day at 4:00pm, the Blues and Predators will move their start time back to 7:30pm. The pre-game rally will now start at 5:30pm.
There were concerns that people would either get stuck in traffic or have an issue finding a parking spot with the two events happening almost simultaneously. Plan accordingly. The area will be crazy with two huge sporting events occurring on the same night. If you're attending the Blues opener, make sure you're in your seat by 7:15 so you don't miss the lineup and usual home opener festivities.
