Jaroslav Halak appeared to have made a serious mistake when he turned the puck over behind his own net against the Tampa Bay Lightning. With the game tied 1-1, Halak tried to dish the puck to Jay Bouwmeester, but his pass was intercepted by Steven Stamkos. When Stamkos played the puck in front to Brett Connolly, a 2-1 score seemed like a certainty.
Halak bailed himself out by making a ridiculous leg/toe save which kept the Blues in the contest. Of course, he wouldn't have needed to make the save had he made a stronger pass or avoided turning the puck over, but let's ignore that fact and admire this save.
