Bring on the Cavs

The Celtics are going on to face the winner of the Cavs/Bulls series…

HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA….

Who are we kidding?  We're going to Ohio to explore Cleveland and crush the hopes and dreams of Cavs fans…. again.

The C's advanced to the Semis by getting past the Miami Heat, 96-86 in Game 5.

The C's looked sloppy early but they eventually built a 21 point lead in the 3rd quarter, which they promptly squandered.  A 24-3 Miami run got it down to 3 when the Celtics started firing back on the strength of the Big 3.  Ray was hot behind the arc, Paul Pierce was taking it to the hole, and KG was hitting shots and swearing at no one in particular in that crazy way that lets you know KG is back.

Ray dropped 24, almost all of it came in the second half.  Rajon Rondo was 2 rebounds shy of a triple double (16 pts, 12 assists, 8 reb). Pierce had 21 and 2 big blocked shots.  KG had 14.

Don't let Dwyane Wade's 31 points fool you.  He shot 10 of 24 and the C's did a good job of bottling him up with Pierce late in the game. Jermaine O'Neal flat out sucked again.  He was 3-10… and all 3 were dunks.  He'll wear the goat horns for this series, I'm sure.

Bring on the Cavs.  If the Cavs finish this off tonight, Game 1 is Saturday.  If the Bulls extend it, Game 1 will be Monday
